2-Story Expansion with a kitchen perfect for entertaining

This average size, 4 bedroom Colonial sits on a surprisingly large property, which is why our clients purchased it. They loved the generous deck and big backyard. After years of making do with a galley kitchen they decided to work with Lemon Grass to enlarge the footprint and add space to the 1st floor kitchen and 2nd floor guest suite. I convinced them to add just a few square feet for a mudroom, since the front has no coat closet, leading right into the living room. By pushing out the deck we created a generous space for a kitchen fun to cook, eat & entertain in. It opens into the family room, which then leads to the deck. With a HUGE pass-through window the kitchen connects to the deck, allowing to easily provide what is needed and be part of the outdoor fun. The kitchen design is a mix of cabinetry & furniture style built-ins, with a few fun architectural details that truly make it unique.
